STAY LIMITATIONS
1. No member shall continue to camp on any one of the Club properties for more than fourteen (14) days in any consecutive thirty (30) day period. This means that you can only camp on any property for 14 days out of 30 days .Example: If you start camping on April 1, 2009, you can only camp 14 days between April 1, 2009 and April 30, 2009.
2. No member shall continue to use motorized equipment on club mining claim or contiguous claim site for more than fourteen (14) days in any consecutive thirty (30) day period. This means that you can not run a dredge or high banker, etc. fourteen days out of 30. Example: If you start dredging on April 1, 2009, you can dredge 14 days between April 1, 2009 and April 30, 2009.
3. The WEGM board has decided to issue “Extended Stay” camping permits for those members that can only visit the properties one time a year. This will be camping ONLY and will be for twenty-one (21) days. The Rules & Regulations for running of motorized equipment for 14 days in any consecutive thirty (30) day period will stay the same. The permit will require the following:
1. The member’s dues have to be paid up to date at the time the permit is issued. 2. The member will have to have a physical address more than 400 miles from the property they will be camping on. All mileage will be calculated by MapQuest and the address will have to be the address the club has on file. Mileage will be calculated from that address to the property they will be camping on. No exceptions on the mileage. 3. The board will have to receive the request ninety (90) days in advance either in writing or by email. 4. All persons in your party will need to be listed at time of the request. 5. You must put the date you will be arriving and that date cannot be changed after the permit is approved. You will have to leave the property on or the day after the permit expires. 6. Only one (1) permit will be issued a year for persons listed on the permit. 7. The permit will be posted at the campsite and the member will have to have his or her copy. 8. You can only have your campsite on the property that is listed on your request.
This Rule will be on a trial basis and will be closely monitored by the board and will be rescinded if there is any abuse by members. Added 01-07-12
The properties are going to be under surveillance and these rules will be strictly enforced this year.

The Board of Directors of the WEEKEND GOLD MINERS PROSPECTING CLUB, INC has adopted the following Code of Ethics for directors and officers of the Weekend Gold Miners Prospecting Club, Inc. This purpose of the Code is to: 1.Focus the board of directors and each director and officer on areas of ethical risk; 2.Provide guidance to directors to help them recognize and deal with ethical issues; 3.Provide mechanisms to report unethical conduct; and 4.Help foster a culture of honesty and accountability. Each director and officer of the WEGM must comply with the letter and spirit of this Code. No code or policy can anticipate every situation that may arise or replace the thoughtful behavior of an ethical director and or officer. Directors and officers are encouraged to bring questions about particular circumstances that may implicate one or more of the provisions of this Code to the attention of the Chairman of the Board. A.CONFLICT OF INTEREST Directors and officers must avoid any conflicts of interest between the director or officer and the WEGM unless the board of directors of the WEGM approves the relationship in advance. Any situation that involves, or may reasonably be expected to involve, a conflict of interest with the WEGM, should be disclosed promptly to the WEGM's board of directors. A "conflict of interest" can occur when: 1.A director's or officer's personal interest is adverse to---or may appear to be adverse to---the interests of the WEGM as a whole. 2.A director or officer, or a member of his or her immediate family, receives improper personal benefits as a result of his or her position as a director or officer of the WEGM. B.CONFIDENTIALITY Directors and officers must maintain the confidentiality of information entrusted to them by the WEGM and any other confidential information about the WEGM that comes to them, from whatever source, in their capacity as a director or officer, except when disclosure is authorized or legally mandated. For purposes of this Code, "confidential information" includes all non-public information relating to the WEGM. C.COMPLIANCE WITH LAWS, RULES AND REGULATIONS; FAIR DEALING Directors and officers must comply, and oversee compliance by members, officers and other directors and officers, with laws, rules and regulations applicable to the WEGM. D.ENCOURAGING THE REPORTING OF ANY ILLEGAL OR UNETHICAL BEHAVIOR Directors and officers should promote ethical behavior and take steps to ensure the WEGM: 1.Encourages members to talk to Directors, BOD members and other appropriate personnel when in doubt about the best course of action in a particular situation. 2.Encourages members to report violations of laws, rules, regulations or the WEGM's Code of Conduct to appropriate personnel; 3.Informs members that the WEGM will not allow retaliation for reports made in good faith. E.COMPLIANCE STANDARDS Directors and officers should communicate any suspected violations of this Code promptly to the board of directors.
