Dredging material

I've recently picked up a new dredge and eager to hit the honey farm before it turns cold. My kids are old enough and ready to jump in now unlike the past years. I would like to know what is the best area/material to look for at the honey farm? I've had the best luck busting hard pack out of cracks but have also done well with the heavy dense looking gray sand almost looks like clay. Am I on the right track or is there more to be looking for?

I believe everything is possible, until I prove to my self that it isn't! <Alan Scarborough>

should keep an eye out for at the honey farm? Breaking hard pack out of cracks has proven to be the most successful method for me, but I've also had success with the heavy thick gray sand that almost looks like clay.
